FORS is dedicated to the study and promotion of relationally based psychodynamic theories and clinical practice. FORS is an Orlando based local chapter of the Division 39 (Division of Psychoanalysis) of the American Psychological Association.
Membership is open to any licensed mental health professionals (including mental health students and registered interns) interested in the study and promotion of relationally based psychoanalysis. To that end, FORS offers presentations and workshops led by cutting edge, nationally regarded clinicians/authors and local skilled professionals. In addition, FORS offers ongoing training opportunities, including weekly peer supervision groups and a monthly reading group where participants can relate case material to current literature.
